Since 2008, Football Palestine has connected fans of the Palestine National Team and Palestinian football to the latest news on the ground. In that time span, a one man show has not missed a single national team game. All information about every game the national team has ever played can be found here, on FootballPalestine.com.
Now I have decided to make some changes to how the site is operated. Over the 15 years in operation the site has gradually morphed from the rantings of frustrated fans to a respected journalistic outlet. Football Palestine is an accredited member of the Asian Football Confederation press corps and I was there in Australia and UAE to cover the national team’s participation in both events.
There was also live on the ground coverage from two 2018 World Cup qualifiers, a 2019 Asian Cup qualifier, and a 2022 World Cup Qualifier. When the national team is not playing I am busy breaking news and talking to sources. All this to say that this site- although being a labor of love- is hard work.
Ad Free experience for all
I have played around with monetizing the site by using ads but have come to the conclusion that it provides very little value to both myself and the reader. Ads are annoying and as such, they have been eliminated for both paying and non-paying readers. So FootballPalestine.com and the free version of the substack will remain free of ads, forever.
