Football Palestine was founded in 2008 as a blog written from the perspective of two supporters of the Palestine national football team. It has since evolved into a full service news site dedicated to covering Palestine’s national teams of all youth and gender divisions, professional players plying their trade abroad, as well as covering the local leagues in the West Bank and Gaza.
In addition to covering football related matters Football Palestine strives to promote transparency in sport by exposing corruption and negligence. Articles related to this matter can be found under the Incompetence section.
Football Palestine has covered Palestine’s participation at the 2015 and 2019 Asian Cup on location from Australia and UAE and was the only Palestinian outlet to do so.
