The man dubbed The Tower will have a new address for the 2023/24 season. After getting frozen out at Pyramids FC for the better part of a year, Wadi was allowed to leave on loan for the second half of the 2022/23 season.

While at Tale’a El-Geish the forward rediscovered his form and played an important role in helping the club avoid relegation. In 18 appearances (13 starts) the Gazan notched four goals and provided two assists. He even earned team of the week honors signalling his return to prominence.

Wadi has one year left on his contract with Pyramids FC. He signed for the team from Al-Masry for a transfer fee of 17 million Egyptian Pounds in November 2020.

Wadi’s next game in the Egyptian Premier League will be his 100th match in the league. In 99 appearances the forward has scored 23 goals and provided 11 assists.

Arab Contractors- otherwise known as Al-Mokawaloon Al-Arab- finished 7th in the table last season.

Wadi will become the second ever Palestinian player to play for the side following in the footsteps of Mohammed Samara who was at the club when Mohammed Salah and Mohammed El-Neny were coming through the ranks.
