According to Goal.com’s Arabic edition, Al-Merreikh have given up trying to accquire Essam Al-Hadary in exchange for Ramzi Saleh and cash. The report claims that Ramzi Saleh will be registered for the upcoming season and he will have to ward off competition from Mohammed Kamal and Yas who was acquired from Hilal Al-Sahel. Al-Merreikh will compete in the African Chmapions League preliminary round on January 28th having finished as runner-ups to Al-Hilal in the league this past season. Al-Merreikh will find out their opponents after the draw is conducted next week (December 20th).
