Yashir Islame made his national team debut in March of 2016 with a brace against Timor Leste. His .37 GPG average is second (minimum 10 starts) in Palestine national team history and he is 9th in the scorer’s table with 7 goals to his name.
Yashir spoke to us about his journey in football- how close he was to make a debut for Chile under Marcelo Bielsa, the seven countries he lived in, and his hopes for a return to the national team.
