Squad For Upcoming June Friendlies Announced

Palestine are set to play Indonesia in Surabaya on June 14th before traveling to Dalian Province to take on China on June 20th

Makram Dabboub has announced his 23 man squad for friendlies this month against Indonesia and China. The squad has many a notable absence including the likes of captain Musab Al-Battat, Charleroi’s Oday Dabbagh, and Landskrona BoIS’s Amr Kaddoura.

The PFA also mentioned injuried to Sajed Alghoul, goalkeeper Naim Abu Aker, and Jonathan Cantillana also prevented their presence in this month’s squad.

The notable new face in the squad is Ataa Jaber who recently filed paperwork to switch his natonality. Other uncapped players include goalkeeper Baraa Kharoub, and defenders El-Mehdi Issa, Bashar Shobaki, and Mohammed Yousefin.

After an absence of 18 months former Hilal Al-Quds forward Reebal Dahamshe returns to the squad. The youngest player to play for Palestine- he made his debut at 17- has scored 14 league goals in the Israeli third tier for Abna Zafla in his 18 months there.

The team is currently training in Amman, Jordan and will travel to Indonesia at the end of the week.
