In a stunning turn of events, Yashir Islame is now bound for Palestine with the player revealing his travel itinerary on his social media.
The Santiago-born forward was a shock omission from the squad for last month’s qualifiers and was not even called upon to replace Saleh Chihadeh ahead of the Singapore game.
Islame responded to the snub by upping his game- scoring three goals for PKNP in their run to the quarterfinals of the Malaysian Cup.
One of those goals was a salacious rabona which has been viewed more than 2 million times over social media.

The last time Yashir Islame played at the Faisal Al-Husseini Stadium he scored a fantastic goal to open the scoring in Palestine’s 2-1 win over Oman. His inclusion in the squad boosts an attacking corps that includes Saleh Chihadeh, Mahmoud Wadi, and Khaled Salem.
